The Green Zone

Blue and yellow mix together to make green. A card matching game, workbook and engaging PowerPoints based on this concept provide social conversation training that really works.

The Conversation Train

Many kids with ASD love trains, and  ”on track” and “derailed” are powerful, visual concepts to teach conversation pragmatics. The set includes a richly illustrated, reproducible Train Book and a 23-piece train picture set for fascinating conversation training activities.

The People Points Project

This is a point-based system to help children with ASD take stock of the way they come across to others, and improve their ability to “score points” with peers and family members. The set includes a workbook and PowerPoints on showing concern, giving compliments, attending to appearance and dealing with disappointment.

The CBT Mind Traveler

This kit employs cognitive behavioral therapy strategies to help children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders understand and fight the automatic negative thoughts that lead to upsetting feelings. Using either the deck of 104 illustrated cards or the set of 260 illustrated PowerPoint slides, each depicting a wide range of challenging situations, the child with autism is guided to identify and fight the “Poison Thoughts” that underlie anger, anxiety, sadness and other troubling emotions.
